As part of the strategic development of the plant in Oberhausen / Germany, a new Riedhammer high-performance tempering kiln was ceremoniously commissioned at Intocast. Thanks to various modernization and digitalization efforts, Intocast is now considered one of the technologically leading production sites for shaped refractory products in Europe.
 
The new high-performance tempering kiln generates more capacity, higher quality and improved performance.
The new Riedhammer kiln has a length of 53 meters, reaches temperatures of up to 350°C and enables a daily production capacity of up to 340 tons.
 
Thanks to state-of-the-art firing and post-combustion technology, CO₂ emissions are reduced by up to 600 tons per year – a substantial contribution to sustainable production in the refractory industry.
