Stifterverband, a joint initiative by companies and foundations, is the only one in Germany to be devoted entirely to consulting, networking and promoting improvements in the fields of education, science and innovation.
The core issues of Stifterverband are education, science and innovation as for Stifterverband these fields are inseparably linked. Science is not possible without education, and innovation is not possible without science.
Since 1920 Stifterverband has embodied the joint responsibility of German companies for a society that is viable for the future with a high quality of life. DAX companies, mid-size companies, company associations, donors and active private individuals – some 3.000 members have joined forces in Stifterverband and form the core of a network of business, science, politics and civil society which is the only one of its kind in Germany.

Therefore we are particularly proud to have been honored - due to our research activities - with the seal of quality “innovation through research“ by Stifterverband.
With this award our efforts and endeavours in the field of research and development will become better known also to the general public.
We consider this an incentive to continue the course that our company has taken since its foundation in 1924.
